I was having problems with my desktop after I fitted a Linksys Dual-Band Wireless A+G PCI Adapter to it. I thought it was my Linksys Wireless G Router and started messing around with the settings. And after 3 hours I seen it wasnt the router. My laptop was able to connect through the wireless and I had it beside my desktop so it wasnt a signal problem.
My search for answers lead me to go through everything. From TCIP to IE LAN settings. And after checking all the network settings. I came to believe maybe it was Internet Exploder, but Firefox was having the same problem. So I checked the settings in IE and seen something odd.

I dont know where this came from. I never put it in there. I did a quick search on Google found out that this proxy script is part of the Google Web Accelerator. After shutting down the program my internet came straight back up. But why was I able to be on a Skype In call? The proxy was filtering all http outbound. After reading other blogs with the same problems, it seems that the Google Web Accelerator is causing alot of problems around the net.
