Even Windows 98SE could be made crash within a few mins of boot off the CD, try having a few ISA cards (remember those) installed.
Can’t add much more than that since I’ve so far managed to avoid Vista ![]()

Niall, 98 was a train wreck as well!
Im running Vista on my laptop and it cant even uncompress folders! I has the bloody thing on its knees! I would wait another 18 months before even looking at installing Vista on another machine myself. At least until the service packs come out.

Ah Vista, what a pipe dream. I knew that I would encounter some problems as my PC isn’t the quickest (it’s going on 3 years old if not more) but it still passed the Vista requirements. I received a big green tick mark to let me know my PC was Vista capable and it falls on its knees without even loading up a thing!
Ridicuolous.

My laptop is 18 months old and it failed on the software tests. But when I got it finally loaded, it failed alot of the hardware tests. I cant run the Aero Desktop which is what I wanted!

Attendees from my blog roll include Cormac Moylan and Gavin Duncan from Ireland SEO Marketing. Which should make for an interesting day. One of the major sponcers is Microsoft, god help who ever they are sending if they ask about my experinces of Windows Vista! […]
